Nova Note opens a folder on your computer directly as a "workspace" and lets you edit the Markdown (.md) files inside it right in the browser. Files are never uploaded anywhere — they're saved straight back to the folder you chose.
Click "Open workspace" and choose the folder where you want to keep your notes. The .md files in that folder appear in the sidebar list. Click a file to start editing — your changes are saved back to the original file automatically. Use the "⋮" menu on each item, or the buttons at the top of the sidebar, to create, rename, or delete notes and folders. Formatting like headings (#) and emphasis (**bold**, *italic*) is rendered automatically on any line you're not currently editing.
